Real Estate App

The project implemented for Ascend Homes, a New York-based company, involved the creation of a web application that enables searching and applying for selected properties, as well as verifying and collecting financial information provided by potential clients.

The business model of the solution involves investing funds deposited by tenants as a security deposit into the property, allowing the tenant to benefit from owning shares in the house from the beginning of the lease, without the need to purchase it.

The main goal of the first iteration was to design and deliver basic functionalities, including:

• registration and login pages,
• user panel consisting of a knowledge base, a page with a list of available properties, a template with detailed information for each property, and a profile view,
• mechanism for collecting personal data from users and financial and credit verification through external APIs,
• chat functionality,
• administrator panel with access to the user list and the ability to create, update, read, and delete data related to administrators, users, properties, and articles in the knowledge base.

Before the release of the completed application, the client decided to analyze and verify the entire process using manual methods, traditional customer communication approaches, and a combination of third-party platform services.

The stages of cooperation with the client, from initial contact to signing the property rental agreement, inspired the client to revise their existing approach and make the decision to have us also implement certain elements of the standard UX cycle.

The application developed for Ascend Homes can confidently be called a test of our flexibility and agile work. The client's satisfaction is evidence that we handled it exceptionally well. Working on such an interesting project from a business perspective was extremely captivating. Discovering customer needs and the evolution of the application's concept to address those needs was fascinating. Not to mention collaborating with a client who, like us, is an advocate of the Agile approach. We love projects like this!
