‍Psinder is a non-commercial mobile app created by havenocode to simplify and accelerate the dog adoption process in Poland. Designed and launched within a few weeks using no-code technologies (FlutterFlow and Xano), it quickly gained popularity and has reshaped how animal adoption works in the country.

Challenge‍

Dog adoption in Poland is a complicated and often unclear process. People looking to adopt a dog must browse dozens of different websites, many of which are outdated or unintuitive. The lack of a central database and a unified communication system with shelters creates numerous barriers for potential adopters. Shelters themselves struggle with limited time and technological resources, making it difficult to update listings and efficiently match animals with new homes.

Psinder was created to solve these issues – a mobile app that centralizes the entire adoption process, simplifying it for both shelters and individuals searching for a pet. Users can browse thousands of adoptable dogs in one place and use filters and intuitive features such as swiping profiles left or right, saving favorites, and contacting shelters quickly. Thanks to process automation and a clear, centralized database, adoptions become faster and more efficient.

The havenocode team designed and developed Psinder as a comprehensive, intuitive tool for people looking to adopt dogs, as well as for shelters and foundations. The key goals of the project included:

• ‍Centralized dog database – gathering animal profiles from multiple shelters and foundations into one application.
• ‍Intuitive interface – simple registration and login panel, along with easy and intuitive browsing of dog profiles based on photos and detailed descriptions.
• ‍Personalized search – the ability to easily filter profiles based on specific characteristics.‍
• Swipe functionality – users can browse dog profiles by intuitively swiping right or left, simplifying the selection process.‍
• Favorites list – the option to save dog profiles and return to them later.‍
• Profile sharing – the ability to share a dog's profile through other communicators with a single click.‍
• Direct contact – users can contact the shelter or foundation caring for the dog directly to get more details or start the adoption process.‍
• Real-time updates – the ability to add new dogs and edit profiles already in the database.

Psinder is an application optimized for high performance and scalability. Built on the no-code platform FlutterFlow, using an advanced backend architecture powered by Xano, the app runs smoothly even with thousands of active users.
Caching mechanisms and data optimization enable fast content loading, while a well-designed database structure allows seamless processing of thousands of dog profiles and user interactions. Additionally, modern security standards ensure protection of user data and application stability.
Thanks to its flexible architecture and the effective use of no-code technology, Psinder can be easily expanded with new features, adapting to the growing needs of the adoption community.

Our initiative was recognized in the Mobile Trends Awards 2025, which annually honors the best mobile applications in Poland. The expert jury nominated and distinguished Psinder as one of the top applications in the category: Social/CSR Activities in Mobile.
Additionally, Psinder won two awards in the largest digital product competition in the region – the WaysConf Awards, in the categories: Best No-Code/Low-Code Implementation and Best Mobile Application.
